My current research interests are in theoretical chemistry and computer science. In the past I researched the molecular basis for gestational diabetes in a UMASS biotech lab, and more recently I worked with the Owen group at Columbia and Crowther group at Barnard to synthesize and spectroscopically analyze nanoplatelet semiconductors. I am currently working on a machine learning approach to problems in protein folding with the Cacciuto lab at Columbia.
