In high school, I conducted cell biology research regarding various pathways that modulate the extracellular matrix. Specifically, I investigated the role of Thrombospondin-2, an angiogenic inhibitor, and its regulation by microRNAs and other proteins. I am currently interested in pursuing molecular biology in areas such as tissue regeneration or in cancer research.
