My past research investigated the role of an essential carbohydrate in inducing neurogenesis through the manipulation of stem cell differentiation. I was also involved in the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study. At Columbia, I plan to study biochemistry and hope to continue to be involved in clinical cell therapy research and to advance disease treatments.
