Design and synthesis of ampicillion analogue I did research on the design and synthesis of a novel heavy-atom ampicillin analogue for use in X-ray crystallography. Working in the lab of Professor Virginia Cornish was a great experience as it allowed me to learn so much more about research in organic chemistry and how that plays into an increasingly multidisciplinary field.
