Description:
Tatini Mal-Sarkar is a junior in the College, studying biology and sociology. Prior to matriculation, she examined computer hardware security, specifically hardware Trojans. During her time at Columbia, she has engaged primarily in biological research, focusing on necroptosis in group B streptococcus and hummingbird genome sequencing. This summer, she will be investigating the role of communication and shared reality in the co-construction of memory and interpersonal closeness at the Higgins lab.
