Tomer is currently exploring interests in mathematics, neuroscience and physics. His past research experience includes using the Gaussian method of orbit determination for observational astrophysics as well as PCR site-directed mutagenesis of green fluorescent proteins. He recently has worked with Liam Paninski from the Department of Statistics on a statistical neuroscience project involving Bayesian inference and analysis of neuronal spike train data.
