Smriti is currently a senior in Columbia College double majoring in Biology and Economics. She is interested in biomedical research, specifically cancer research. Her past research involvement includes research in lung, breast, and pancreatic cancer. She has been doing research at the Irving Cancer Research Center at Columbia University Medical Center since her freshman year. She is currently working in a brain tumor research laboratory investigating the effects of therapeutic conditions on low-grade glioma models.
