Columbia College has announced the names of 24 seniors who will be initiated into Phi Beta Kappa, the national honor society. The students were chosen by a faculty selection committee of Phi Beta Kappa members based on the breadth, depth and rigor of their academic programs, as well as recommendations from faculty members who have worked closely with them.

Columbia women’s basketball sophomore forward Devon Roeper CC’17 has been nominated for the third-annual Allstate WBCA Good Works Team.
Daniel Listwa CC’15 has been selected as one of 12 recipients of the prestigious George J. Mitchell Scholarship. Mitchell Scholarships provide one year of postgraduate study in an Irish university in either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. Listwa will study Philosophy and Public Affairs at University College Dublin.
Columbia College and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science will be implementing significant financial aid enhancements and policy changes for 2015-2016 in order to better support undergraduates.
