After teaching English as a second language in South Korea, I have commenced the PhD program in English at Stanford University. As a Mellon Mays fellow I wrote a Senior Thesis under the supervision of Alan Stewart about the relationship between Elizabethan public executions, and Elizabethan drama. My senior thesis immersed me in the world of early modern literature, and I haven't looked back. Currently, I'm continuing coursework at Stanford, exploring issues of the increasingly globalized world of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
