Biography:

Chase Hensel is a co-founder and current executive of Welkin Health, a San Francisco Bay-area company whose app provides feedback and coaching for individuals with type 2 diabetes.  Previously he worked as an associate product manager for Google in its Mountain View, California offices and then as a product manager in its Beijing offices.  He spent the summer after graduation as a Tisdale Fellow, working on policy analysis for the Computing Research Association in Washington, D.C. 

At Columbia, Hensel did research with the Center for Computational Learning Systems and with the Cardiac Biomechanics Group.  He graduated magna cum laude in 2010.
