Phi Beta Kappa

Phi Beta Kappa is an academic society founded in 1776 to recognize and celebrate friendship, morality, and learning. The Columbia College Delta chapter was formed in 1869.

Latin Honors

Latin honors is the highest academic recognition awarded by the College.

King's Crown Leadership and Excellence Awards

King's Crown Leadership Excellence Awards recognize the significant contributions students make to the Columbia community. Awards are presented near the end of the spring semester, across eight categories to up to ten individuals per category.

Fellowships

Fellowships are opportunities students to pursue academic and professional interests. Through fellowships, students are often able to pursue study abroad, get involved in research or public service or take on a postgraduate degree.

Departmental Honors

Departmental honors may be established and awarded by any Columbia College department or academic program, and is recorded on a student’s final transcript.
