University Professor Ronald Breslow, the DeWitt Clinton Professor of History Eric Foner CC’63, GSAS’69 and the Jacques Barzun Professor of History Kenneth T. Jackson will be presented the 2016 Alexander Hamilton Medal on Thursday, November 17.

MacArthur Foundation. Andrew Plaa has been appointed Dean of Advising for Columbia College and Columbia Engineering. Plaa has served as an adviser in the James H. and Christine Turk Berick Center for Student Advising since 2005 and has been interim dean since September 2015.
Katie Meili CC’13, a former member of the Columbia Women’s Swimming and Diving team took the bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke at the Olympic Games on August 8.
