The Core Curriculum

Gray Prize Submission Guidelines

You may nominate what you consider to be the paper (or, at most, two) you have received this academic year from a Columbia College student that most effectively embodies the goals of Lit Hum and, with the student’s permission, submit a copy of it to the Core Office. A panel of Lit Hum instructors will review the submissions and award a $200 prize to the winner. The winner will be announced at the Awards Day ceremony in spring 2016.

Students may revise papers at your discretion, but teachers must review and submit them to the Core Office by Friday, May 15th at 5 pm; one week after the LH final exam and the Core Spring Party. Electronic submissions work best, but we can also accept hard copies.
