[From the webpage] "This docu-drama encourages audience members to identify with Hume and his associates through the use of role-play. The script and opportunity for enactment are intended to aid audience members in relating Hume’s concerns and experiences directly to their lives, to their relationships, and to the needs of the world around them. Through this it is hoped they will discover how much this is a world without Hume – a world that prefers certainty to scepticism, and in which reckless reasoning is not only encouraged, but admired. This state of affairs has brought about catastrophic consequences for individuals, communities, and the global society of our time.
Preceptors and students could choose an excerpt for performance in class.
