Brandon Victor Dixon ’03 will star in the musical Hell’s Kitchen, with a score by Alicia Keys, based on her life story. Keys attended the College for four weeks in 1997 before dropping out to pursue her music career. Hell’s Kitchen opens at The Public Theater on Tuesday, October 24.


Wedding bells are ringing for Sasha DiGiulian ’16! The world champion rock climber’s nuptials were featured in The New York Times on September 22; she and her husband, Erik Osterholm, met in 2017 while he was documenting her ice climb of New Hampshire’s Mount Washington.

The September 22 Times also featured former New Jersey governor James E. McGreevey ’78, in the article “Governor Who Quit Politics Amid Scandal Eyes a New Job: Mayor.” After leaving politics in 2004, McGreevey is preparing to run for mayor of Jersey City.

Maggie Gyllenhaal ’99 was the subject of a September 20 The Cut feature, “Don’t Ask Maggie Gyllenhaal to Buy a Gift Off the Registry.” Gyllenhaal currently appears in a new campaign for the fashion brand Lafayette 148.
