Columbia College welcomes the new faculty members who will be teaching in the Core Curriculum during the 2016-2017 academic year. These faculty join approximately 50 returning faculty members already teaching in the Core Curriculum.

Andrew Plaa has been appointed Dean of Advising for Columbia College and Columbia Engineering. Plaa has served as an adviser in the James H. and Christine Turk Berick Center for Student Advising since 2005 and has been interim dean since September 2015.
