Columbia College is offering four new fellowships during the summer of 2015 to give students more opportunities to study or do research abroad: the Columbia College International Summer Fund, the Undergraduate Global Policy Fellowship, the Beesen Global Experience Research Fellowship and the Harvey Krueger Global Experience Fellowship.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti CC’92 will deliver the keynote address at the 2015 Columbia College Class Day ceremony. The annual event, which honors graduating seniors, will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, on the South Lawn of Columbia’s Morningside Heights campus.

Students from Barnard College, Columbia College, General Studies and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science may enter to win funds for the most innovative and viable business proposal. The top three teams will split a $50,000 prize.

Cristen Scully Kromm has been appointed Dean of Undergraduate Student Life for Columbia College and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, effective February 1, 2015. Kromm , where she is responsible for residential life within the College and Engineering and is actively involved in the co-curricular life of students.
