Join CCW for a lively and inspiring conversation with Khadijah Sharif-Drinkard CC’93, P: CC’25, author of Power Reimagined: My Mission to Get It, Grow It and Give It Away, as she dismantles the myths that have been taught about power. From growing up in 1980s Harlem to building a trailblazing career at entertainment giants including BET, MTV, Nickelodeon and ABC, Sharif-Drinkard has spent her life redefining what real power looks like.

In Power Reimagined, Sharif-Drinkard shares raw, behind-the-scenes stories from her childhood and her professional journey, revealing that real power isn’t handed to you — it’s forged through strategy, courage and an unshakable belief in your own worth. Part fearless memoir and part inspirational guide, the book speaks directly to anyone who has ever been overlooked, undervalued or told they didn’t belong. Sharif-Drinkard’s story will inspire you to claim your power and use it without apology.

The conversation will be moderated by business leader Akosua Ayim CC’11, with introductory remarks by CCW president Nancy Pak CC’90, BUS’95.

Preorder the book.
