“I’d like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Muñoz for everything these past four years. Columbia was more than anything I could ever dream of and I’m so excited for everything the future has to bring. This was such an exceptional opportunity. Thank you!”

“Every year I enjoyed seeing Mr. Muñoz at the Dean’s Scholarship Reception. I loved hearing his stories about being a student at Columbia. It was amazing how his experiences in Literature Humanities or certain economics classes were so similar to mine despite us having graduated many years apart.

Receiving financial aid not only made it possible for me to attend Columbia, but it also allowed me to build a relationship with someone who went through a similar situation as I did. It was invaluable for me to know that my donor, when he was a student at Columbia, received financial aid and after graduating went on to have an amazing career and eventually be able to fund the education of multiple students. Mr. Muñoz was a driving factor for me to do the best I could at Columbia and to continue that momentum after graduation.

Receiving financial aid was a wonderful opportunity and I hope to one day be able to help another student achieve his or her dream to go to Columbia University.”
