  • Reunion Keynote Speaker: Robert Siegel '68, Senior Host of NPR's All Things Considered

"Time was, the stories you were most likely to read in the paper were the ones on the front page, above the fold, placed there intentionally by editors. On the evening news, 'the lead story' was a big deal, a status reflecting the judgments of editors and producers who figured it was the most important news of the day. Now, the editorial priesthood of the old days has been weakened. Does anyone assume responsibility for getting a reasoned version of what’s most important before the eyes and ears of American news consumers?" Come hear this familiar voice discuss the changing nature of media in today's world.
