Join Rosalind Chow CC’02 as she discusses her book The Doors You Can Open: A New Way to Network, Build Trust, and Use Your Influence to Create a More Inclusive Workplace. You’re probably familiar with mentorship, but how much do you know about sponsorship? Many of us are aware of mentorship as a way to pay it forward and elevate others in the workplace, but sponsorship offers a new and potentially more effective route. The Doors You Can Open explains the difference between these types of support and how understanding that can help us create more satisfying and genuine relationships and foster more inclusive and equitable spaces.

If you’d like to pre-order a copy of Chow’s book, visit the Hachette website.

Rosalind Chow CC’02 is an associate professor of organizational behavior and theory at Carnegie Mellon University, where she directs executive education programs that advance the careers of Black and Latino professionals and advises corporations on their sponsorship programs.
