The Fund Development Council (FDC) is a network of alumni peer-to-peer fundraisers who serve as the leadership committee for the Columbia College Fund. Their work is critical to growing the pipeline of $1,500+ donors.
Members of the FDC formulate overall strategy, solicit leadership-level gifts for the College Fund and partner with staff members. These dedicated alumni meet three times per year, helping raise $2-3 million for the College Fund annually. As alumni leaders, they are invited to exclusive events and have opportunities to connect with the dean of Columbia College and other senior leaders at Columbia.
Fund Development Council Co-Chairs
The co-chairs guide the strategic direction of the FDC. They meet monthly with College Fund staff to brainstorm ideas, make decisions on behalf of the FDC, elevate topics for discussion and offer the alumni perspective on items related to the College Fund.
