Columbia College Alumni Reunite at Reunion Weekend 2016

Columbia pride filled Morningside Heights on June 2-5 during Reunion Weekend and All-Class Reunion 2016 when more than 2,000 alumni and their guests returned to campus for this year’s celebrations. Attendees enjoyed Mini-Core Courses taught by Columbia’s distinguished faculty, a Keynote lecture by NPR’s Robert Siegel, elegant class receptions, dancing on Low Plaza and much more.

Highlights included…

...the Young Alumni Party, a sold out event, which brought 1,700 alumni and their guests to the stunning New York City landmark Guastavino’s for a night of dancing and fun. See the album.

...Columbia College band Sha Na Na returned to campus after 47 years to play hits like “The Hand Jive,” “The Monkey,” “The Jerk,” “The Cha Cha,” and “The Hokey Pokey” to some of their biggest fans. See the album.

… the Alumni of Color Reception which brought together members of the Black Alumni Council, Asian Columbia Alumni Association and Latino Alumni Association of Columbia University to celebrate their accomplishments. See the album.

...the Columbia College Women Reception where College alumni and students celebrated 30 years of coeducation and learned about CCW’s programs. See the album.

… alumni of all class years gathering on South Lawn for the annual BBQ Lunch. See the album.
