Enjoy a special evening with fellow alumni while listening to a special talk about Columbia College's nearly 100-year-old Core Curriculum and the unique role of women in Core texts and stories.

Julie Crawford, former chair, Literature Humanities, will join us from Morningside Heights. She'll share perspective on the Core as she highlights some of its legendary women, including the Iliad's Briseis and The Odyssey's Penelope, plus female writers such as Sappho and Toni Morrison.

Don't miss this special evening when the Core Curriculum goes to Los Angeles.

This event is sponsored by Columbia College Women and the Columbia College Alumni Association, with support from the Columbia Alumni Association Club of Southern California.

Free parking available for attendees. Tickets will be available at the door so walk-ins are welcome.
