Mohit earned a B.A. in economics from Columbia. He has built a global career in finance and strategy, leading teams at companies including PayPal, Square, ThoughtSpot and now Simple Practice, where he serves as chief financial officer. His work has supported high-growth tech businesses through key periods of expansion and transformation.
Sejal earned a B.A. in Middle Eastern studies and biology from Columbia and an M.I.A. from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. Her career has spanned leadership roles in tech, finance and healthcare, including as chief people officer at Iterable and executive positions at Sunrun, Visa and Pfizer. She has advised startups across the technology, climate and health sectors, and was recently appointed as Deputy’s chief people officer, where she supports the company’s global strategy and expansion.
Dedicated alumni and proud Columbia parents, the Daswanis are active members in the College community. Sejal serves on the Fund Development Council and is a member of the Alumnae Legacy Circle. Mohit serves as a co-chair of the Fund Development Council and a member of the Columbia College Alumni Association Board of Directors. They are also members of the 1754 Society.
