Parent Leadership Council

The Parent Leadership Council is a leadership giving society exclusively for Columbia College parents who are dedicated to serving the College’s mission through philanthropy and commitment. Members are strategic partners with College leadership, ambassadors for Parent philanthropy, and builders of a robust and welcoming Parent community at Columbia. The PLC offers exclusive benefits for all members, including special recognition through exclusive events, publications, and communications. Membership Levels

The generosity of the PLC helps sustain the College’s longstanding tradition of excellence and our members play a vital role in supporting the Columbia College Fund. Parents may join as Members or Dean’s Circle Members with cumulative annual giving to the Columbia College Fund of $15,000 or $25,000, respectively.

  • ​Recurring newsletters curated for the parent community, providing important updates on campus opportunities and resources for you and your student

  • Support from the Parent Fundraising staff and PLC Co-chairs throughout your time as a Columbia College Parent

  • Invitations to PLC Fall and Spring meetings on campus, which feature discussions with College leadership, faculty, and staff while also providing the chance to meet and network with fellow parents

  • Watching your student walk across the graduation stage from special VIP seating at Columbia College Class Day. Class Day, a school-specific and more intimate graduation celebration, is one of Columbia College’s most iconic and important traditions.

  • Invitation to Dean’s Circle Reception. This special evening provides an opportunity to connect with fellow leadership donors and Columbia College leaders.​
