FAQs: The COVID-19 pandemic and Columbia College Reunion Announcement

Will there be an opportunity for me to celebrate my reunion?

Reunion is a cherished College tradition. While we know it cannot replace the traditional on-campus celebration, we invite you to enjoy the complimentary virtual programs we’ve planned for the weekend of June 5.

We are committed to planning an in-person gathering for this year’s milestone classes, although there might be continuing or new factors that influence when such an event can take place.

If I have ideas for how to celebrate Columbia Reunion, with whom can I share them?

Please send ideas to ccreunion@columbia.edu.

What can I do to help College students impacted by the changes to campus necessitated by COVID-19?

The best way is to make an unrestricted gift to the Columbia College Fund. All gifts will help provide students with essential resources in this time of transition, and will support the shift to a virtual and innovative learning environment.

Is the Alumni Parade of Classes canceled?

Yes. All spring events have been canceled (or postponed, in some cases), due to concerns for the health and safety of our community.

Where can I read about the University’s response to COVID-19?

Please visit the University’s COVID-19 website.

If I have other questions, whom should I ask?

Please email ccalumni@columbia.edu and someone will get back to you in a timely manner.
