Join CAA Arts Access for an evening with cellist Alisa Weilerstein '04CC at Carnegie Hall. On March 18, American cellist and MacArthur Fellowship recipient Alisa Weilerstein, will be performing Schumann’s enigmatic Cello Concerto along with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. The early works of great composers are featured, such as Mendelssohn’s refreshing Nocturno for Winds, Webern’s aphoristic Five Movements for Strings, and Schubert’s elegant symphonic salute to the powerful influences of Rossini, Haydn and Mozart.
