The Alexander Hamilton Award Dinner

The Alexander Hamilton Medal is the highest honor awarded to a member of the Columbia College community for distinguished service to the College and accomplishment in any field of endeavor. It is presented by the Columbia College Alumni Association; James J. Valentini, dean, Columbia College; and Lee C. Bollinger, president, Columbia University.

Due to the unfortunate circumstances of COVID-19, we are unable to hold our annual celebration this year. We look forward to bringing back this beloved tradition next year, tentatively scheduled for November 18, 2021. If you have questions about this event or know an exceptional alumni you would like to be considered, please let us know!
