Columbia College alumna, current students release debut EP with The Wild, The Innocent
At the end of 2018, in the CU Records recording space on the fifth floor of Lerner Hall, seven musicians — including Riley Burke CC’18, Nick Loud CC’21 and Michael Coiro CC’21 — were hard at work recording their debut EP. Flash forward to January 2019, and The Wild, The Innocent have released their eponymous first record.

The New England Patriots won Super Bowl LIII on February 3, defeating the Los Angeles Rams 13–3. Watch Patriots owner Robert K. Kraft ’63 celebrate by hoisting the Lombardi Trophy during a post-game Boston parade. This is the team’s sixth national title –– and 10th Super Bowl appearance –– since Kraft purchased the team in 1994.
Beto O’Rourke CC’95 returns to campus for conversation with College students
On February 5, Columbia University President Lee C. Bollinger and Columbia College Dean James J. Valentini welcomed former U.S. Congressman Beto O’Rourke CC’95 back to campus, where he spoke to College students in Low Rotunda. After O’Rourke’s opening remarks, where he spoke about his life as a public servant, the event was largely centered around an opportunity for students to ask O’Rourke questions.
